Solani and The Girl Who Made the Stars is a pair of games that tell the stories of two different cultures' Star Creation Myths. 

Solani Tells the story of the Navajo star creation myth. Players Draft tiles to creature constatations on their board - referencing the First Man and First Woman using quartz fragments to light the sky with stars. After 12 rounds of completing constellation puzzles, the end of the game is signified by Coyote lifting the rug (board) out from under the pieces and flinging them into the sky to create the Milky Way. 

The Girl Who Made the Stars tells the story of the San African star creation myth. The Girl who made the Stars reached into the fire and threw the embers into the sky to create the Milky Way. Her goal is to light the sky to lead travelers home in the night. As the sky grows dark the embers begin to glow like embers and spread like fire. Place your workers in new areas on the board to see where the light from the Milky Way spreads, and make constellations with the light your workers gather.
