Nightmare Cathedral is a strategy game for 1-4 players. Players compete for control of the map by placing units on the board and managing their resources wisely. In the first stage of the game, the Nightmare Cathedral is slowly constructed turn by turn. During this phase, players can safely place units on the board, and add fortresses with few problems. BUT in the second phase of the game, (which begins when the cathedral is completely constructed) players must face the Nightmares that the Cathedral hosts. Players’ units can be attacked and eaten by these monsters, setting the player back. Tricky players will take advantage of Nightmares, and employ them to do their bidding against other players.
