Lolth is the Queen of the Spiders and a Drow Goddess. She is often seen as a Giant Spider with the head of a beautiful Drow. Before her fall, she was a companion to Corellon, the leader of Elf Deities. Over time she grew jealous of Corellon and plotted with their nemesis, the Orc god Gruumsh to try and overthrow them. When that didn’t succeed, she gathered a large group of Gods with hostilities toward Corellon resulting in a battle, which she also lost. A final attempt at Corellon’s life was made with poison but also did not succeed. A trial was held for Lolth, and she lost almost all of her divinity and was transformed into a giant spider.
